Strawberry Picking

Last weekend we went out to Crozet to pick some strawberries at Chiles Orchard.

Last year, Owen was just learning to sit up.  This year, both kids rode in the wagon.  

 Owen did some picking.

 I made the mistake of showing him that he could eat the berries.  It was all over from there. 

 We managed to keep some berries.

 That night we tried a yummy recipe with our fresh strawberries.

Rainy Day

 Eliza suited up and played in the rain the other day.  She is so full of joy!

Yesterday, Eliza was trying to put Owen's boots on for him so I started recording.  Owen tolerates it for about 15 seconds, then moves on.  I cannot stop watching Eliza's face as she tries to be stern with him.  Wonder where she has seen that face before?!

Easter Egg Hunt 2012

Both kids were mobile this year for the Foxcroft Easter egg hunt. Last year Owen was an observer. Owen collected some pebbles and mulch along with his eggs, and Eliza scored big time, having practiced at her school already.
