*SNOW*

It's been snowing for 24 hours now. The dogs love running and burrowing in it.
Eliza is not sure what to think about it. She liked eating the snow, but didn't want to stay out too long. It's been fun getting Christmas cards done, baking, and wrapping presents...perfect timing!

After sitting in our garage in a bucket of water for a week,
our tree finally made it into the house last night.
(Since we stayed up until midnight Wednesday painting.)

Steve stuck his hand in to move it and found a little surprise...

Eliza's Birthday Present

Eliza's room is decorated with birds, so when I saw this canvas by lemonswithapea, I had to get it. The verse is from the Psalms.
"Bird" is one of Eliza's words right now and as soon as she wakes up she is pointing to them and talking about them.

This morning, as I was feeding Eliza, she kept fussing and pointing to the table. I offered her different things as she got more frustrated. Finally, I brought my coffee cup over to her tray. That was it.

We're starting her early.
